Windpomp Sjerrie MTB Event

STABLES provides the perfect venue for our coastal autumn morning start @ 07H00 for the first 10KM cyclists and the 60KM cyclists will follow @07H15. The testy climbs along the GOUKOU River will soon spread the field out and from there it is in to farms and more farms, river crossings and the first test of the day towards the BEACON. The pace will vary from cyclist to cyclist, each with their own personal goal in mind.

The STRAVA link to the 60km route: https://analytics.strava.com/routes/2769274041598920626 A really sweet sections of single-track lead us onto the cobble stones and gravel travel sections that sets the tone for the journey ahead: long stretches along the GOUKOU river mixed with sections of happiness. The private farmlands are picturesque. Places like Kleinbergskloof, Palmyra, Waterryk and Riethuiskraal will awaken your imagination. The Klipfontein farms of Altus Joubert and the olive farmyard surrounded by epic rock walls are something not to be found in the rest of Southern Africa.
