Unique attributes to the race: 
-Handicap Timekeeping system taking gender and age into account (winner is calculated via a formula; BUT overall winner also gets a prize)
-Capacity of only 300 riders (To ensure a smaller footprint in the national park). Making this an exclusive boutique race. 
-Race village close to the Augrabies Falls (biggest falls in South Africa)
-Spectacular landscapes with wide variety wild animals (including giraffes and many bird species)
