RTV 2022 #1 - Ayama Wines

The property was bought by Slent Farms Company in 2005 from Chris and Judy New, and the Italian owners set out in a bold new direction. Attilio and Michela, with their partners – all Italian friends who love South Africa and have deep faith in its future – made the first Slent wine in 2005. The first day of the harvest was unforgettable, and it will be part of the Slent story for ever. The wine was named “AYAMA” – a Xhosa word meaning “someone to lean on” – as the owners believe their Slent adventure leans on friendship and love.

On the 15th of January 2022 we will host our 1st event on the Run The Vines calendar for the 2022 season.

Come join us for a fun day out with the family. The Italian hospitality at Ayama is unforgettable.

3km Oasis Paarl Junior Challenge -- Free - Start 8:10

Adult accompanying a child on 3km - R70

5km Run The Vines - R120 - Start: 8:00
10km Run The Vines - R140 - Start: 7:45
17km Run The Vines - R170 - Start: 7:15

R30 Late entry fee.

All unpaid entries will be removed after 3 days.

Waterpoints will be available. It is however always advised to be self sufficient when it comes to hydration when you run.

Free massages after your run by Brad Williams Sports Science.

Your entry fee includes the R10 timing fee. Timing is done on Webscorer.

Free Oasis Paarl water at the finish line.

All Covid regulations are in place as per the regulations at Ayama.
